in the WAKE of 1,2,3, WHITEOUT and other projects...  we have already received some inquiries regarding this film from religious groups ("Focus on the Family,christiananswers.net...) requesting copies. we happily obliged, unsure what the interest could be. Perhaps the request from these Christian groups is because 1,2,3, Whiteout operates as an ode to all that a perspective from darkness promises vs. all that the era of light has delivered. 1,2,3, WHITEOUT (AKA THE END OF THE LIGHT AGE) this film was inspired by research on the history of man-made light.. Traces of the violence of light from Hiroshima.   as with the dungeons and early forms of prisons, maintaining a prisoner in darkness was considered punishment (as with here in Yuma, AZ).  Now, as with "supermax" prisons, the light is always on.   "The Heavenly Ladder of Saint John Climacus, c.12th century".
